Refuge cities in the Old Testament were places where people who had made big mistakes could run to for safety. They would be safe there until they could stand a fair trial and would have the chance to be cleared of the charges against them. They were open to everyone. These cities were shadows of who Christ is – when we’ve made mistakes or have been misunderstood, we can run to him for safety and forgiveness. He knows who we are; he knows who you are; he loves us, and he’s calling us home. Refuge City wants to be a safe place for students to be welcomed by God’s grace through his people and challenged by his truth – we can’t wait to get to know you!

We meet twice a week: Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.

Wednesday Nights: 6:30 p.m., right after the Family Dinner. Our evenings kick off with hearty competitions in some form – ever heard of bambooshka or gatorball? Didn’t think so – then we have a weekly check-in, learn from the Scriptures, and call it a night.

Sunday Mornings: 11:00 a.m., right after Christ Church’s main worship service. We recap the message from the Wednesday before, then our awesome team leads our small groups while eating sweet treats.

The Sounds of Refuge City

A new tradition for Refuge City is the playlist. These are songs that are put together for your listening pleasure. Here them here: Spotify.
