sunday school

Adult Sunday school is a time to fellowship and continue our study of God's word after the celebration of God's word through preaching during the service. Sunday schools go from 11:15-12:00pm. Two Sunday school options exist. One is an ongoing discussion and testimony time about how the Spirit moves in our lives today. The second is either a study of Scripture or a topic on the Christian life. Currently, this class is working through the book of Revelation taught by elder Nathan Turner.

Wednesday evening Bible study

with Dr. Mccann

Dr. McCann has been both a pastor and a medical doctor and has led Bible studies at Christ Church for many years. There is a time of worship beginning at 6:30, followed by an in-depth study of Scripture from 7:00-8:00pm. All are welcome!  You can listen to past Bible studies here.

Intercessory Prayer group

Christ Church prays in unity to glorify God, share the truth of Christ and release the love, hope and healing of the Holy Spirit to all. Come join us Saturday evenings at 6:30 to pray for our church, our community and our world.

Men's ministry

The Men's ministry is undergoing some change this year! We are excited about the future and look forward to announcing the new vision. In the meantime, look for announcements and check the calendar for special events!

Dr. David Larsen leads a men's Bible study on Friday mornings at Corner Bagel. Come join in the study and fellowship as we together seek to grow as disciples and disciple-makers.

women's ministry

The women of Christ Church gather monthly for fellowship and prayer as well as taking a retreat every spring in the beautiful North Carolina Mountains.

There is a women's Bible study on Thursday mornings. Childcare is provided, and all women are welcome! We look forward to starting a new study in January. Past studies have included learning from Priscilla Shirer, Jen Wilkin, Lysa TerKeurst and Ann Voskamp.

Finally, we believe in the power of praying women and desire for every woman in Christ Church to be connected to one or two prayer partners. These Prayer Triads meet at the time and place of their choosing. For more information, contact Greer Wolcott.
